Who is Major Michael Stockin?
Dr. Stockin was an anesthesiologist and pain doctor stationed at the Madigan Army Medical Center at Joint Base Lewis-McChord near Tacoma in Washington starting in July 2019. He has been employed by the Army for over ten years, including being stationed in Iraq, the Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii, and the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center outside of Washington D.C.
In February 2022, Stockin was ordered by the Army to no longer see patients for medical care.

Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Michael Stockin
Major Michael Stockin, age 38, was originally arraigned on the Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington for charges related to sexual abusing patients under his care, including forcing them to undress and groping/fondling their genitals.
On August 30, 2023, Army officials revealed that Dr. Stockin was facing criminal charges for sexually abusing at least 23 victims, including allegations of abusive sexual contact and indecent viewing.
On October 17, 2023, additional charges were brought against Dr. Stockin for 17 more victims.
By February 23, 2024, Dr. Stockin was arraigned on charges related to the sexual abuse of 41 patients in total. It is believed that there are more victims of Doctor Stockin, who may or may not have been medical patients. Based on accounts from dozens of male patient victims who have already come forward, Stockin is accused of doctor sexual assault including forcing his patients to undress and groping and/or fondling their genitals.
The case against Dr. Michael Stockin is believed to be one of the largest military sexual assault cases on record.
