Video Transcript

In December 2023, a New York Times investigation revealed that at least five women filed lawsuits against eXp Realty and associated individuals, alleging that agents Michael Porkman and David Golden drugged and sexually assaulted them during company events. These women claimed that their complaints were ignored by eXp executives until the first lawsuit emerged in February 2023.

Further allegations have since surfaced against other eXp-affiliated individuals, including agent Randy Bouk and real estate photographer Nicholas Moore.

If you or someone you know has experienced inappropriate touching, sexual abuse, sexual harassment, or believe you were drugged and sexually assaulted by a member of eXp Realty, you have legal rights and options. The first step we recommend in pursuing these options is to speak with an experienced attorney. They can help you understand the process of reporting this internally to eXp Realty and how to protect your rights during this process. They can also help you with reporting to law enforcement and even exploring the civil lawsuit process.

An attorney specializing in workplace sexual assault cases can guide you through these legal processes, help protect your rights, and explore options. Several individuals are already pursuing civil lawsuits against both eXp Realty as a company and individual perpetrators. A lawsuit allows survivors to seek financial compensation for medical expenses, emotional distress, job loss, and other damages.

Courts have already allowed several claims to move forward, rejecting Realty’s argument that it’s not responsible for its agents’ actions.

If you or someone you know has been affected by sexual misconduct at eXp Realty, please reach out to us today. We can connect you with an experienced attorney who can provide a free consultation to help you understand your legal rights and options.
