Hi, I’m Natasha Lettner here with Helping Survivors. Today we’re going to talk about the Roblox grooming lawsuit. Roblox is one of the most popular gaming platforms in the world, especially for children and teens. But behind its colorful avatars and virtual worlds, predators have used Roblox to groom, exploit, and abuse minors.

Roblox has more than 111 million daily users, and about 40% of them are under the age of 13. Recent lawsuits alleged that Roblox failed to protect minors from grooming, sexual exploitation, and kidnapping. Multiple lawsuits alleged that Roblox failed to prevent sexual predators from contacting and grooming children on the platform. In some cases, children were coerced into sending explicit photos or even meeting in person where the abuse escalated.

Roblox has parental controls and says it has AI in place to monitor chats, but the lawsuits argue that the measures don’t go far enough. Many parents and advocates believe the platform prioritizes growth and profits over safety. They also have the right to file civil lawsuits against the predators and in some cases roadblocks itself for failing to protect young users. Compensation may be available for therapy, emotional harm, and other damages.

At Helping Survivors, we connect families with experienced attorneys who understand these cases and can help you pursue justice. These attorneys work on a contingency basis, which means you don’t pay anything upfront. They only get paid if they win compensation for your family. If your child was harmed through Roblox, reach out to helping survivors today to learn about your legal rights and options.
