Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, in California employs over 2,000 physicians and 10,000 employees. Over the years, they have faced several patient sexual abuse allegations that contrast sharply with the hospital’s prestigious reputation.
Most recently, alarming accusations have surfaced involving Dr. Barry J. Brock, a longtime obstetrician-gynecologist and former member of Cedars Sinai’s physician network. He is facing lawsuits from at least 35 former patients alleging decades of sexual abuse and institutional cover-up by Cedars Sinai.
In December 2023, a former pediatrician at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center was sentenced to seven and a half years in federal prison for possessing child sexual abuse material.
Dr. Anshul Gandhi, a former ER physician at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, faces charges for drugging and assaulting several women, including colleagues of his also employed by Cedars Sinai.
