The Alexander Brothers: History & Overview of Allegations
Alon, Tal, and Oren Alexander, known as the “Alexander brothers,” are well-known NYC luxury real estate brokers. Tal and Oren Alexander worked at Douglas Elliman for over a decade before leaving in 2022 to open their own brokerage, Official.
In March 2024, two women filed separate sexual abuse lawsuits against twin brothers Oren and Alon Alexander. In June 2024, a third lawsuit was filed against all three brothers over an alleged 2012 sexual assault. Just a month later, a fourth woman filed a lawsuit against Oren Alexander, accusing him of drugging and raping her in his apartment in 2015.
Meanwhile, the Wall Street Journal article published an article a few weeks after the announcement of the third lawsuit, featuring interviews with five women who allege sexual abuse by one or more of the Alexander brothers.
According to a September 2024 Business Insider article, it was allegedly an open secret among wealthy social circles that the Alexander brothers mistreated women. According to their report, more than a dozen women have said they were raped or assaulted by the three brothers, with allegations spanning back decades.
As of October 2024, more than 30 women have reportedly come forward and spoken with lawyers regarding sexual abuse allegations against the Alexander brothers. According to the Wall Street Journal, the FBI has launched a criminal investigation into the allegations against the brothers, although authorities have not verified this.
On December 11, 2024, the Alexander brothers were arrested and face federal criminal charges related to sex trafficking.
Specifically, all three brothers were charged with one count of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking and a separate count of sex trafficking of one woman by force, fraud or coercion. Tor Alexander was charged with sex trafficking an additional woman.
The three brothers were arrested in and around Miami, Florida, and were denied bail by the judge in federal court in Miami, Florida on December 12, 2024. Their cousin, Ohad Fisherman, is also charged in Florida but remains at large.
If you or someone you know has been sexually abused by one or more of the Alexander brothers, you have legal rights and options.
If the abuse occurred in New York City, the NYC Gender-Motivated Violence Act enables victims of sexual abuse to file a civil lawsuit until February 28, 2025, regardless of when the harm happened.
After this time, the updated standard civil statute of limitations for sexual abuse lawsuits in New York will go into effect, only allowing survivors to bring claims within seven to nine years from the date the gender-motivated violent act occurred.
If the harm happened in another state, such as Florida, Nevada, or California, you may have as little as two years from the date of the incident to file a civil sexual abuse lawsuit against the Alexander brothers.
Therefore, speaking with an experienced sexual abuse attorney as soon as possible is critical.
Helping Survivors can connect you with an experienced sexual abuse attorney today for a free consultation. If you choose to move forward, the attorney will represent you on a contingency fee basis, meaning they only get paid if and when you recover compensation. Thus, there is no upfront cost for exploring a civil case against Tal, Oren, and Alon Alexander.

Tal Alexander: Sexual Abuse Allegations
Tal Alexander is the oldest brother and the co-founder of Official alongside his brother Oren. While Tal Alexander has only been named as a defendant in one lawsuit for sexual abuse allegations as of publication, the media has reported on several other allegations by women dating back decades.
As of October 2024, the sexual assault allegations against Tal Alexander include the following:
- In the third lawsuit filed against the Alexander brothers, Angelica Parker accuses Alon and Tal Alexander of raping her in their Soho apartment in 2012 while Oren watched. This was the first sexual abuse lawsuit naming Tal Alexander as a defendant.
- Business Insider interviewed another woman who alleges Tal Alexander raped her in Las Vegas in 2017.
- In that same Business Insider article, Abby Hofeldt, a former high school classmate of the Alexander brothers, alleges she was able to escape an attack. She alleges that the three Alexander brothers forced her onto a bed and held her down, with one of the twins holding her arms, the other holding her legs, and Tal getting on top of her with all three pulling at her clothes.
- Another woman told Business Insider she had invited Oren Alexander to her house but later asked him not to come. He still allegedly showed up at her home, bringing Tal Alexander along with him. She said that while Oren had sex with her, Tal masturbated over her at least three separate times, even after she confronted him.
- Another woman told Business Insider that when she was a young college student, the Alexander brothers invited her to Las Vegas for a UFC fight. She alleges the three brothers forced her into a hotel room, the twins left the room, and Tal proceeded to rape her after being told no several times. The twins then allegedly told her not to tell anyone.
If Tal Alexander has sexually abused you or someone you know, you have legal rights and options. You can report the abuse to law enforcement or file a civil lawsuit, which might include a claim under the New York City Gender-Motivated Violence Act.
Oren Alexander: Sexual Abuse Allegations

- In July 2024, another lawsuit was filed against Oren Alexander, alleging he drugged and raped another woman in his NYC apartment in 2015.
- The Business Insider has reported on numerous allegations, including the following:
- A woman alleges she was removed from her bed following a house party, and while she was still half-asleep and hungover, Oren, Alon, and their friend raped her.
- Oren and Alon allegedly sought a temporary injunction in 2013 against an anonymous blogger who had accused them of drugging and raping a 15-year-old girl at a 2003 high school party in North Miami Beach.
- Another woman alleges she invited Oren Alexander over but later changed her mind. However, he came over with his brother. While the woman was having sex with Oren, his brother masturbated multiple times on top of her without consent.
- Travel influencer Justin Ross Lee alleges that at a 2009 party in Southampton, Alon and Oren surrounded a woman, and one of the brothers tried to insert his finger into the woman’s vagina. He alleges that later that evening, the twins showed him an up-close photo of the woman’s genitals.

Alon Alexander: Sexual Abuse Allegations
Alon Alexander is Oren Alexander’s twin brother. Like his twin brother, Alon is named as a defendant in several sexual abuse lawsuits. Multiple media reports detail numerous incidents of sexual abuse involving him and his brothers. Unlike his brother, Alon does not work in the real estate industry as his brothers do. Instead, he works for the family’s Florida-based security company.
As of October 2024, the sexual assault allegations against Alon Alexander include the following:
- Alon Alexander is named as a defendant in two lawsuits filed in June 2024 by women alleging separate incidents of sexual assault by him and his brother, Oren.
- Another civil lawsuit accuses Alon of drugging and raping a woman in his NYC apartment in 2012 as his brother watched
- The Business Insider article published in September 2024 reports on the following allegations against Alon Alexander:
- A woman alleges that on the morning following the twins’ 30th birthday party, she was forcefully removed from her bed and raped by the twins and a friend.
- Oren and Alon allegedly sought a temporary injunction in 2013 against an anonymous blogger who had accused them of drugging and sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl at a high school party in North Miami Beach in 2003.
- Travel influencer Justin Ross Lee alleges that at a 2009 party, Alon and Oren surrounded a woman while one of the brothers attempted to insert his finger into her vagina. Later that evening, the twins allegedly showed Lee a close-up photo of the woman’s genitals.
- Another woman alleges she was invited to a birthday party. She says that before attending, she explicitly told Alon she did not want to have sex. She says she woke up the next day lying naked in the grass of the backyard. When she went to shower, Alon Alexander allegedly entered the shower and tried to have sex with her.
Other allegations accuse Alon and his brothers of forcing several women into sexual scenarios over the years. The brothers are reportedly under criminal investigation.
If Alon Alexander or his brothers have sexually abused you or forced you into a sexual situation, you have legal rights and deserve to seek help and healing. You can report the conduct to law enforcement, talk to the media, and file a civil lawsuit to pursue compensation for the harm. Legal Rights & Options for Those Impacted by Alexander Brothers
The three Alexander brothers now face numerous sexual abuse allegations raised in civil lawsuits, news reports, and police reports that have become public.
Those who experience sexual abuse—especially when powerful and wealthy individuals perpetrate it—may fear for their lives and reputations if they come forward. The Alexander brothers have allegedly threatened multiple women regarding coming forward or speaking up about the harm, which only increases the fear of those impacted.
You may not have labeled the incident as sexual abuse at the time—likely due to feelings of shame, guilt, or fear. Many individuals do not recognize sexual abuse in the moment or try to rationalize it as a mistake they made. However, if you were under the influence of drugs, felt coerced, or were forced into sexual acts you did not consent to, this was sexual assault. You deserve to seek help, healing, and justice.
If the Alexander brothers had you sign a non-disclosure agreement or any other document before or after the incident, it is likely invalid. While many wealthy individuals try to use non-disclosure agreements, or NDAs, to silence individuals, such agreements are not legally binding on those who have witnessed or experienced the crime of sexual assault.
You have legal rights and options. However, the applicable statute of limitations may restrict your ability to pursue these. The criminal statute of limitations imposes a deadline for prosecutors to press criminal charges. The civil statute of limitations sets the time victims have to file a civil lawsuit after an incident.
The statutes of limitations vary by state and can be complicated. Thus, it is critical to speak with an experienced attorney as soon as possible. Some states’ deadlines are as little as two years after the incident date.
New York City has passed an amendment to the Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Act to give all survivors of sexual abuse in the past until March 1, 2025, to file a civil lawsuit, regardless of when the abuse occurred. The law suspends the traditional statute of limitations, which gives 7 to 9 years to file suit, depending on the circumstances. Several survivors of abuse by the Alexander brothers have already filed suit under this amendment. However, time is running short, so we recommend reaching out today.
Report Sexual Assault by Alexander Brothers to Law Enforcement
You have the legal right to file a police report with law enforcement at any time, even if the harm happened years ago. You must generally do this in person at the local police precinct in the jurisdiction where the harm occurred.
Given that the FBI is reportedly investigating the Alexander brothers, you may also want to contact the FBI. In their recent federal indictment, the prosecutors for the case encourage those who have been impacted to contact them at the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI or reach out to them directly at alexander-case@fbi.gov.
After you file a police report, a criminal investigation may be launched. The results will depend on the applicable laws and available resources. Given that there are already so many allegations against the Alexander brothers, an investigation is likely, and police will likely follow up with you rather quickly. They may ask you for any evidence, the identity of any witnesses, and the names of those you told following the incident.
Ultimately, prosecutors will review the evidence and determine whether to press criminal charges. While an individual cannot press charges against someone, should the state or federal government press charges, you might be called on to testify at a criminal trial.
If you have questions regarding this process, we can help answer them.
File a Sexual Assault Lawsuit Against the Alexander Brothers
Several women have already filed civil sexual abuse lawsuits against Tal, Oren, and Alon Alexander. A civil lawsuit enables individuals to pursue monetary compensation for their harm and seek healing, justice, and accountability. While a settlement or monetary judgment can never undo the harm, it can help survivors move forward to get the mental health support they need to heal.
Additionally, a civil lawsuit creates a public record, which may encourage other survivors to come forward. You may be able to file a civil lawsuit under seal as a Jane or John Doe to protect your identity.
