Doe v. Expedia Group, Inc., Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., and Marcelo F. Vargas-Fernandez - Superior Court of Washington for King County
Class action lawsuit filed on behalf of Plaintiffs against Expedia Group, Inc. and Securitas Security Services USA Inc. alleging negligent conduct and breached duty of care after a former employee – Marcelo F. Vargas-Fernandez – was arrested and charged with first-degree voyeurism in February 2024. Vargas-Fernandez planted spy-cameras specifically aimed at toilets within all-gender, single-use restrooms and other private settings across Expedia’s headquarters, subjecting his female colleagues to dramatic suffering. Various employees claimed they reported the discovery of cameras as early as December 2023 to no avail.
E.S. v. Tal Alexander and Oren Alexander - Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida
Lawsuit filed on behalf of Plaintiff against the Alexander brothers – two nationally-recognized real estate brokers to the “super wealthy” – after Defendant lured Plaintiff into an isolated room in Alexander’s home and violently sexually assaulted her, resulting in permanent physical, psychological, and emotional injury. The complaint highlights a pattern of recurring physical and sexual abuse by the Alexander brothers spanning several decades.
Doe v. Board of Regents of the University of Michigan, et al -U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan
Class action lawsuit filed on behalf of Plaintiff against Board of Regents of the University of Michigan after quarterback coach Matt Weiss was charged with 24 federal counts, including unauthorized computer access and aggravated identity theft. The charges stem from allegations that Weiss hacked into the private accounts of female athletes to access personal photos, with the activity reportedly beginning in 2015 and continuing through 2023.
T.T. v. Roblox Corporation
Lawsuit alleging Roblox Corporation enabled the grooming, exploitation, kidnapping and rape of a 13-year-old girl by creating a “digital hunting ground” for predators while falsely marketing their platforms as safe for children.
