Oklahoma Rideshare Driver Accused in Second Sexual Assault Case

Oklahoma City courthouse where a former rideshare driver is accused of a second sexual assault case

Timothy Greene, a convicted rapist and former rideshare driver, has been linked to another sexual assault case that took place in 2019. This comes two years after he was convicted of raping a woman in 2021. Greene, who worked for multiple rideshare companies, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for the 2021 assault. Now, court documents reveal a new accusation, bringing to light the possibility of further victims and prompting the Oklahoma City police to request more DNA samples from Greene.

Greene Was Convicted of Rape in 2021

Timothy Greene’s criminal history began in 2021, when he was convicted of assaulting a woman he picked up from a bar in Edmond, Oklahoma. The woman was reportedly intoxicated when Greene assaulted her before leaving her alone.

The 10-year prison sentence handed to Greene was a temporary sense of relief for some, but the resurfacing of a 2019 case has reignited public concerns over the safety of individuals using rideshare services.

New DNA Evidence Links Greene to 2019 Assault

The 2025 development centers around a case from 2019 in which Greene allegedly assaulted a different victim. Court documents state that the victim, also intoxicated, was picked up by Greene through a rideshare service. DNA evidence recovered from the scene later connected Greene to the crime. This revelation has prompted Oklahoma City police to seek additional DNA samples from the convicted rapist to confirm his involvement in the 2019 incident.

Authorities have urged other potential victims to come forward to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. “The investigation is still ongoing, and anyone with similar experiences should not hesitate to report them,” said a spokesperson from the Oklahoma City police department.
