Elizabeth Dumbaugh is a highly respected consultant and court-qualified expert in premises security and security management. With a career spanning nearly a decade, she has conducted over 200 risk assessments for a wide range of commercial properties. This extensive experience, paired with her unique ability to assess and understand the dynamics of various spaces, makes her a valuable resource for survivors of sexual assault, especially in the context of workplace environments.

Elizabeth holds the globally recognized Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation from ASIS International, indicating her exceptional proficiency in security management. She has also earned the prestigious title of Crime Prevention Practitioner from the Florida Attorney General’s Office, further solidifying her commitment to fostering safe and respectful environments.

However, her expertise goes beyond her civilian credentials. Elizabeth’s foundation in physical security was built during her service as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Officer in the US Army. In this role, she not only commanded troops in Afghanistan but also served in an advisory capacity in Iraq, partnering with U.S. Department of State and British Consulate personnel to develop training programs aimed at enhancing forensic methodology for police bomb squads and officials within the Iraqi justice system.

Currently a Major in the U.S. Army Reserve, Elizabeth brings a unique perspective to her work in security consultation. Through her service as a leader, she has gained vital experience in ancillary fields including workplace violence risk assessments, sexual harassment prevention, and government contracting. Her breadth of knowledge and expertise positions her to provide informed commentary and review content with a discerning eye, making her a reliable ally for survivors of workplace sexual assault.
